S-OIL began its first commercial operation in May of 1980. The group is a Korean oil refining company integrating an oil refining-lubricant-petrochemical system. In addition to its core oil refining business, S-OIL produces and supplies marine lubricants. The company produces gasoline, diesel, kerosene and Bunker-C, as well as a line of chemicals, including Benzene, Toluene, Xylene and Para-xylene.
