Energen is a diversified energy company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. The dominant driver of Energen's operations is its non-regulated oil and gas exploration and production subsidiary, Energen Resources, with natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids reserves in the San Juan Basin in New Mexico and Colorado, the Permian Basin in west Texas and southeast New Mexico, and the Black Warrior Basin in Alabama.
