CENTENNIAL COAL COMPANY LIMITED

Established in 1989 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 1994, Centennial is a coal mining and marketing company supplying thermal and coking coal to the domestic and export markets. The Company is a major fuel supplier to the New South Wales energy industry, fuelling approximately 46% of the State’s coal-fired electricity. Centennial sells approximately 30 – 35% of its coal into the export market. Customers include power stations and steel mills in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India and Europe. As of 30 September 2009, Centennial had approximately 13,700 Shareholders and 1,700 employees.
