TSRC is the top supplier in the Asian rubber industry and has, with its outstanding and stable quality, won the unqualified esteem and patronage of major clients throughout the region. The production of SBR, BR, TPE, and applied polymers at our Kaohsiung plant has reached an annual capacity of 218,000 metric tons, and in recent years the plant has gained international ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certification. We considered many names for our site—in fact we spent our first year and a half under a different name—EkoHub. We liked “Eko” — coming from the Greek word Oikos, related to economy, ecology, and “home” or social concerns. From the beginning, we believed the word “Hub” reflected our desire to be at the center of the sustainability area, providing knowledge, harmony, and consensus among the hundreds of experts judging the ESG performance of companies.
