The Company operates through two segments: Fund Management Division and Group Properties Division. Its earnings are derived from Fund Management through its subsidiary, First Property Asset Management Ltd (FPAM), which earns fees from investing for third parties in property, and Group Properties, which consists principal investments by the Group, to earn a return on its own capital, usually in partnership with third parties. The Company’s properties comprised of over seven directly owned commercial properties in Poland and Romania and non-controlling interests in approximately ten of the twelve funds managed by FPAM, which are invested in the United Kingdom, Poland and Romania.

We considered many names for our site—in fact we spent our first year and a half under a different name—EkoHub. We liked “Eko” — coming from the Greek word Oikos, related to economy, ecology, and “home” or social concerns.
