PT BW Plantation Tbk, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the development, cultivation, and harvesting of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in Indonesia. It involved in the palm plantation activities; and provides refined palm products, such as crude palm oil and palm kernels from FFB. The company manages seven plantations, which include four in Central Kalimantan, two in West Kalimantan, and one in East Kalimantan. As of December 31, 2010, it had plantations in approximately 95,812 hectares, as well as planted area of approximately 48,197 hectares. The company was formerly known as PT Bumi Perdana Prima International and changed its name to PT BW Plantation Tbk in December 2007.
