AES Eletropaulo distributes electricity in 24 municipalities in the Greater São Paulo, including the capital. In this area, the company serves more than 16 million people, concentrated in 6.1 million consumer units. In the main economic center of Brazil, the annual consumption is approximately 41 TWh of energy. The company has approximately 4,600 employees. Among its assets are 135 distribution transformer stations (ETD), in substations with an installed capacity of 13.2 (MVA), 43,000 km of distribution networks, and 40,100 km of overhead and 2,900 km of underground networks and a network of 1800 kilometers of subtransmission lines (138/88 kV), with a total of 1.1 million poles.
