These donations were valued at over $100 million and included nearly 16 million pounds of fresh produce and approximately six million pounds of fresh dairy products.

Sysco Corporation announced today the launch of a new “Foodservice Doesn’t Brake for Adversity” campaign designed to help small foodservice businesses stay in business.

Recently, some Massachusetts and Rhode Island shelters and food banks have gotten a little help in a big way thanks to Amazon, Sysco, and the Patriots Foundation.

Major foodservice-only distributors like Sysco have already started helping their restaurant customers create these new mini markets.
