Lindsay Corporation is an international agribusiness and highway infrastructure firm with worldwide sales and distribution, and annual revenues of $281.9 million in fiscal 2007. In 2006, the company acquired Barrier Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of proprietary movable barriers for lane management and highway crash cushions. In December 2006, Lindsay acquired Snoline S.P.A., a European provider of road marking and roadway safety equipment. The two companies now form part of Lindsay Corporation Infrastructure Division but irrigation remains Lindsay's core business.

We considered many names for our site—in fact we spent our first year and a half under a different name—EkoHub. We liked “Eko” — coming from the Greek word Oikos, related to economy, ecology, and “home” or social concerns. From the beginning, we believed the word “Hub” reflected our desire to be at the center of the sustainability area, providing knowledge, harmony, and consensus among the hundreds of experts judging the ESG performance of companies.
