Harleysville National Corporation is the holding company for Harleysville National Bank (HNB). HNB was founded on October 28, 1909. In 2004, HNB completed the acquisition of and merger with Millennium Wealth Management, and in 2006, acquired the Cornerstone Companies. These acquisitions have allowed HNB to offer investment, trust, financial planning, brokerage, and wealth management services for individuals, corporations, and foundations, in addition to its retail banking services. In 2007, HNB completed the acquisition of East Penn Bank (EPB) and Will Financial Bank (WFBC). The HNB/EPB branch network consists of over 80 offices throughout ten counties in eastern Pennsylvania.

We considered many names for our site—in fact we spent our first year and a half under a different name—EkoHub. We liked “Eko” — coming from the Greek word Oikos, related to economy, ecology, and “home” or social concerns. From the beginning, we believed the word “Hub” reflected our desire to be at the center of the sustainability area, providing knowledge, harmony, and consensus among the hundreds of experts judging the ESG performance of companies.
