Environmental Investment Organisation

The EIO is an independent non-profit which researches, promotes and implements investment systems designed to incentivise global corporate emissions reduction. The main body of the EIO's work centers around the "Environmental Tracking", or ET, concept. The EIO provides ET Carbon Rankings, an ET Index Series, and ET engagement. For purpose of the ET Carbon Ranking is to provide information on a company's greenhouse gas emissions intensity as well as its level of disclosure and verification. The aim of the ET Carbon Ranking is to encourage increasingly higher levels of disclosure and verification while incentivising corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction on a global scale.
