The PGNiG Group is engaged in the Polish natural gas market. Its parent company is Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo. The company’s activities range from exploration and production to storage, trade and distribution of gaseous fuels. In 2008 PGNiG started two investment projects: development of the Lubiatów-Mi?dzychód-Grotów field (LMG field) and expansion of the Wierzchowice underground gas storage facility.
