Established in 1950, Grupo Elektra is a Latin American financial services company and specialty retailer. The Azteca Financial Division comprises all of the group’s subsidiaries and operations that offer financial products and services to the middle class of Mexico and Latín America, including banking and lending. The retail business is composed of store formats Elektra and Salinas y Rocha in Central and South America. The products and services offered in these formats include electronics, appliances, electronics, furniture, motorcycles, cars, tires, batteries, bicycles, cell phones, computers, electronic money transfers, extended warranties, airtime, bus tickets and plane tickets.
