Central Vermont Public Service Corporation

Central Vermont Public Service (CVPS), one of Vermont’s 21 utilities, is an independent, investor-owned company providing energy and energy-related services to customers throughout Vermont. The company serves more than 159,000 customers across the state. CVPS has one non-regulated business, Catamount Resources Corp., which sells and rents electric water heaters through a subsidiary, SmartEnergy Water Heating Services.
