Astec Industries, Inc. manufactures more than 180 products from rock crushing and screening plants to hot mix asphalt (HMA) facilities, concrete plants, horizontal directional drills, gas and oil drilling rigs, geothermal drills, milling machines, asphalt pavers, material transfer vehicles, trenchers, horizontal directional drills, and wood processing equipment. Astec's domestic customers are asphalt road paving contractors, aggregate and hot-mix asphalt producers, utility and pipeline contractors, open mine and quarry operators, and government agencies. In the international market, Astec serves both government and private customers. The company operates through four independently managed subsidiaries.
